Day 1:

Picked this up as a project. Day 1 was washing it up while we wait for some parts that were ordered.

Cleaned up the seats and did a test fit before figuring out how they need to get bolted in.

Build Day 2-3

-One Tire inner tube
-New Clutch
-New Chain
-Made some seat brackets out of flat iron and spray painted
-Quick spray of frame to brighten red color
-Got driver seat installed
-Seat belt harness attached to frame

Are you putting the roll cage back on the kart? Why i ask is that generally a harness is only worn when you have a cage to protect you from being thrown out and squashed by the frame. If there is no roll cage, then you definitely want to be thrown free in a crash. If you are strapped in, the kart can just roll over with you now being pinned to the ground

Thanks for that info I was not aware of this. I do want to build a roll cage, it did not come with this kart. Do you suggest I just to lap belt for now or no belt?
