Mega Moto 212 Mini Bike with maybe 5 hours on it. Tillotson 212cc engine, Huayi carburetor, 9+HP (Stock), flywheel rated at 10,000 RPM (not aluminum), high compression and high flow Hemi head with 27mm-24mm valves, 26lb valve springs. I installed the Stage 1 Performance Kit with air filter, air filter adapter, .038 main jet, header, and muffler. The kit added 2 to 3+ horsepower. I ran this combo for awhile but wanted more speed. I removed the governor and connected throttle linkage directly to carb. The rod, cam and flywheel are stock. The only difference that this made was, it accelerates faster. The speed and rpms aren't any higher. Others with the same bike show higher rpms and speed. Carb is moving to wide open. It speeds up then flattens out. Maybe the carb is leaning out? Can the torque converter be the cause? Seems to be noisy from that side of the engine at idle and when riding. Nature of the beast? Thanks
