I was wondering if any of you have Benn casting forging or any other interesting metal work. over the week end I made some aluminum casings by pouring molten aluminum into the snow.

I have, posted a few on my forge build thread...

Havent been able to get back at it, as the result of a nasty "Karen"........ Type person nearby... Has decided not to talk about thing instead of just go ahead and start complaining last year... Like all of us didnt have a bunch of crap to deal with... and since....

But alas.... I do enjoy blacksmithing and wish I had a regular place without problems to further my craft, Some casting aswell would be nice... at least more than just bullets I do now.

well, aluminum it fairly easy to cast and melt, I used a propane forge once but I am not allowed to use the propane forge when dad is not there, so I normally just use the coal forge. we had put the normal blower away for the winter, and to be rebuilt later, so instead I just used a lea blower, it worked great.
