Sweet, what island you on? i used to live on the Big Island.

Try hardware stores, most of the time they will have something, arent there any kart shops around you?

If you buy (or could borrow) a #35 chain breaker tool, you could splice your chains together without using a master link at all. When done corectly this method is usualy considered a beter/more reliable alternative to using a master links. Mine cost around $20.

I dont know where you'd find one in Hawaii but you might look through this link: http://www.google.com/search?source...rlz=1T4DMUS_enUS221US222&q=#35+Chain+Breaker+

Haha, good deal man. I had to move away, long story, trust me, wasnt my choice. I'm going back someday though, can you say BEACH BUM!
:bannana:

I didnt even think of not using a master link, thats another good option if you cant find the right link locally.

my bad i thought you were in britain, pearl sucks, as does waikiki. half links would be preferable to using a regular link. if i'm not mistaken, you need a chain press for that.

a half link is made to fit the inside on one end, the outside on the other. it's a mini vise of sorts. does motor pool not have any, or ideas on where to get em?
