Manual clutch for gokart

I bought a 3d motor sport manual clutch for gokart. The manual clutch is for 3/4" inch shaft but I'm using Briggs & Stratton 550 series 127cc 3hp engine which has 5/8" shaft. I've searched online and found that I can add a shaft sleeve which converts 5/8" shaft into 3/4" shaft. My question is that would it work efficiently..?? Please help me guys.......

thats an expensive clutch for such a weak engine. Just my 2 cents.... As far as efficiency goes, yeah, clutches have the best power transfer..... but.... theres not much power to begin with on that little briggs engine.
