First Thank you for all of your expertise.

I picked up a used MANCO Eliminator 2 seater with no engine

and started the fixing process

Picked up a Predator 212cc OHV Horizontal Shaft Gas Engine

I bought a clutch for the engine

But I think from what i read there is a JACKSHAFT?

ANY IDEAS OR DIRECTION TO SETTING THIS SECOND SPROCKET or Jackshaft I have no motor mount other than what is on the frame nor the SHIELD thingy? that held what i believe was the Jackshaft

I do have the brake assembly sprocket
there is no sprocket on the wheel though

THANKS for any help!

Welcome to the forum. Are you sure you even need a jackshaft? Does your gear ratio not work out for you at the moment. Post the tooth count on yuor clutch and axle, as well as your wheel diameter, and we can help you out.

Most important of all....:useless:. If we cannot see what you have, it is hard to help. Pics of the clutch, kart, etc...

If it is indeed a Model 435B Manco Eliminator (link to manual here), it did have a jackshaft.

It shows a 9 tooth and a 35 tooth sprocket on the jackshaft as well. Axle sprocket is 27 tooth. Clutch is 10 tooth. Tires are 145/70 x 6" which is about a 14" diameter.

I have a Manco American Challenger Fox, basically the same thing. Please post pics. And :welcome2:!
Behind the 4 holes for the motor mount, is there an empty pipe kinda thing? Buy 2 bearings, a 5/8 inch jackshaft kit, both sprockets, and a locking collar. Don't forget two keyways for the sprockets. I would recommend a pillow block like this:

I bent my first jackshaft without it.

That's a snazzy looking kart!

About the JShaft... Young one is speaking of you 'making/fabricating' your own designed assembly. JS's come in 1000's of designs, but the main concept of a JS (for karts) is to attain 2 different/separate gears to move in the same direction/power to get a different, more versatile gear range.

So long as 2 gears are on the same shaft, and the shaft is stationary, but rotational, 'that' is a JS. Fabricating one for your particular kart looks to be a pretty easy endevor. 2 bearings for stability and rotation... hangars/mounts for said bearings... appropriate length/diameter shaft/keyed... 2 gears (or 1 sprocket w/ 2 gears on it) of desired ratio/chain #... and aligning the end gear w/ the axle sprocket... simple...LMAO.

... like the attachment... sorta. (Green being the bearings and mount/hangars... Red being the shaft and the gears locationing... outside gear aligning w/ wheel sprocket).

I've seen pictures of something that mounts to the 4 engine bolts, and is basically a square with the same 4 bolts on top, the only things thats changed is that it has a hole for a jackshaft. Maybe get one of those?
Check my first pic on here, then check the rest under my album for you. This is just looking at it from the outside. Mine came stock with this tube.
Also, you need two locking collars to keep the jack shaft from sliding. Why does your seat say Yerf Dog when your kart is a Manco??
Edit: turn your head sideways... Dont know why theyre sideways.

Are you talking about item #106 "Backing Plate"? If so, it's not required, but it is used to attach the torque converter cover. If you plan on putting a cover over the torque converter, I'd recommend some sort of back plate.
