Hey everyone, just thought I'd share my son's go kart project. So my friend had this sitting in a field for about 2 years and decided to give it to me for free. Since I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and I've never messed with go karts and the frame seemed to be in pretty good shape I thought I'd give it a whirl. So this is where I'm at with it today, basically stripped it down to bare frame and either replaced or rebuilt everything. Put a Predator 212 with some mods and she rips pretty well. It's definitely a blast! On a side note I know It's a Manco Model# 606 but does anyone know the year they made them from? Thanks!

My my, that's a dandy rebuild. I even like the colors

I can only estimate your 606's age from the dates of the available manuals; 2002-2005.

Is your friend the original owner?
If he is, did you ask him when he bought it?
Did the kart have its serial number tag visible or intact?

Going off the serial number, you could contact American Landmaster (Manco's current name)
and ask them to give you the date of manufacture...

Finally finished the roll cage! Just touch up stuff now, paint the front rims, replace the tie rods and ends, install a push button kill switch, maybe add some lighting?
