Ok new here but have been looking around for a while but now I have a manco intruder gfx almost all original excluding the one head rest and straight pipe with homemade tractor flap and soon front tires but I'm right at 200 pounds and with a stock gear ratio of 6.1 it pulls me and my daughter just fine but I'd really like to go up hill better since I live n ky and there r no flats around lol but I've wondered a lot about my 17.5 briggs vertical shaft that should get me up the hills and I don't want to go fast like 25 tops if looked at adding a jackshaft to but please keep n mind I have no money but am good with a wrench and a welder at which I do have thanks for reading my post

Vertical shaft engines are for lawn mowers. :p

Apparently you have no money for periods or other punctuation marks either. Haaa!

For hill climbing you need a Torq-A-Verter.
