manco go kart

I have a 6.5 hp honda on a manco dingo go kart and every time i turn left it cuts the motor out. any idieas what is rong.

just a thought here...but do you have one of those saftey cut off switches or what ever you would like to call it haha. if so is it on the steering wheel?

Or do u have enough oil in it? because there might be a little oil in and when you turn it moves away from the sensor.

I have the same HF motor, and it wouldn't even start until I added enough oil. It has a "Low Oil Sensor" that I've read will Kill the engine even if it's fairly full. It's an easy starting point for trouble shooting and a cheap fix.

check the oil with the dipstick, and make sure its full.. you should always do that before you fire it up anyway.

then if it still cuts off when you turn left, disconnect the low oil sensor.

the g-forces in the turn pull the oil away from the sensor, making it "think" the oil is too low.
