So when I was a kid my brothers and I got a manco Firefox lxt 5hp go kart in 1996. Long story short the thing is about shot now and wanting a project I started taking the Tecumseh OHH55 apart and the parts just started adding up for only stock replacement part . Well Im at the point where I hating this engine and thinking about taking the comet TC off this and use it on a predator 212 with the OMB wearhouse "stage 1" kit. I have a 6:1 ratio with 17in tires in the back and 14 in the front and I'm 150lbs.
And well I'm just asking for advise or input on this setup

The $200 total investment will be well worth the money, trying to find stock parts for a Tecumseh could prove difficult &/or expensive...

Similar kits usually yield around 10-15% power increase, maybe a little more; just remember to
only use the heavier valve springs if the governor is intact...
