Manco Dingo Throttle Question

Hi all
I'm building a kart with a Dingo frame and there is a small tube about 3/8" long welded to the side of the frame for the throttle cable to go through, but it's too small for a cable with a sheath to fit through. What's the proper set up for this? I'm accustomed to the sort that has the slot, and I know some Dingos are that way, but not this one.

you could cut it off and weld a bigger one on.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to avoid. I may do that, but I figured someone here would know what the original setup was. I think if I weld, I'll just put a tab with a vertical slot on it. Anyone know how this was set up?

Take a picture of it. I have a manco dingo a two seater and a single seater.

lay it next to it and zip strap it to the frame. easy peezy
