Manco broken spindles

I have some kind of Manco go kart here.... I have no idea what year or model it is or where to get parts for it. The spindles on this thing are toast. Where can I get some new ones for it?





These aren't pictures of the actual kart, but the one I have is just like it.

A quick google search came up with the spindles, however without the model, buying spindles is a gamble. I am sure another member will chime in with the model.
Meanwhile, what is actually wrong with your spindles? And do you have access to a welder, drill and a saw?

Are you talking about the spindle mounts on the frame being cracked or the actual spindle itself that the wheel rides on? www.apskarting.com is the best place. They have different lengths too which helps if you want chassis offset for dirt oval racing like i used to use mine for.

Here's what I've got.

Anyone recognize the model?

I checked out that website and couldn't find spindles on it anywhere. Does anyone have some parts that will work on this thing?

Those spindles almost look homemade to me.
Here are some spindles, I do not know if they fit, but as I do not know what model kart you have, it is all the info I can provide.

you could probably get a machine shop to weld on some new spindle arms for a fraction of the price of new spindles. Just an idea. Assuming you have one near you. (or if you have a buddy with a welder)

The Kart was just thrown in on a deal I made on a mini bike for an extra $25. You're looking at it the way I got it. Its got a decent running 6.5 hp clone motor in it, so I figured I couldn't go wrong for $25. I can see its gonna take a little work to get going. I'll put another $25 in it..... if I can't get it drive-able by then, I'll just cannibalize it for the motor.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'll check those sites for the parts I need and post up pix once I have it steering.

LOL...ok! Should be a cool project! I got one like that a little while back....was all screwed up! But it was a fun project and now my son runs the crap out of it! cant get him off it...or get my grass to grow back!

lol i was allowed to ride on the yard until my bike got more powerful and started to roost up the dirt. 20 foot driveway is the main riding place now.

if that was my kart i would fix the spindles with some scraps. but i have a welder and grinder

You have a model 415, however what makes your spindles "toast"? I have yet to see one I couldn't fix one way or another. If its bent you heat, bend, and re-weld breaks. If its worn you can replace the kingpin and weld the nut at the bottom, and or welding a guide on the spindle's C clip. Alternately you can drill the spindle out to the next largest size, or purchase reducing bronze bushings for a snugger fit.

Please do tell, what is wrong with them?

Ummm blaz theres pics. One is a little bent and rusted the other is badly bent and the mounting tab for the tie rod is broke right off.
