All I'm going to say is NO. Don't do it. What you are talking about is sheer suicide. In proper buggy, yes that engine is fine but in a manco? We're talking light built kart here.

brng this back from the dead but got to working on it last few days, didnt take many pictures but here is where she sits

mean stance, hoping this to be ride height

ended up picking up a 13hp honda for 25 bucks from buddy, needed a new carb and air filter so it got a genuine honda replacement and a k&n filter. also as u can see making a new basket for motor

needs front bracing to and mounting shocks to top of the a arms so the rack and pinon can sit down in the bottom

dont think these are breaking anytime soon. yes i know the mounting brakets look hideous. This what i get for letting my buddy nake them when i was out getting lunch and he welded them on befor i got back

Looks good. Looks like its missing a 40 series torque converter/jackshaft set up. That would be perfect for that engine (yes i do love those engines, and torque converters).

got the 40 series in and mocked up a little. I need to do some welding, fine tunning and adjust some stuff but shouldnt be to difficult
