Hello,

I am looking for a picture of the left side of the hex axle once assembled on a Manco magnum express 606. Unfortunately the axle was already disassembled when I got to this one. I need to see where the welded boss thing goes, the orientation of the brake rotor, and if there are any spacers in that area. A google search has provided me with the exploded view in the owners manual, which is helpful, but I dont see the boss thing. Could someone post an actual picture of theirs if its still stock? Thanks

I guess you've already seen this exploded view of a 606 axle. It the "boss thing" you mentioned anywhere in this illustration?

Yes, this is the diagram I have. If that thing is on there, I don't recognize it. Its like a spacer thats welded straight to the axle. I imagine its to help center the axle on the kart, but without knowing which side of the kart it goes on, there are several wrong ways to assemble this axle and not know until things magically start hitting each other I found out... Thanks for the help though

I have a manco 710e with hex axle. This was the original set up. I believe that welded piece was just to stop it from moving to the right. The spacers kept it from moving left.

That axle took a #6280H sprocket hub. If you look at the exploded view, a #153 clamping bolt secures the hub to the axle and the hub bolts to the sprocket. Go Kart Supply carries the replacement hub for the 6280H. The one you have pictured was modified along the way.

Rooster just fyi you dont need spacers if you dont want them. I purchased a new hex axle for my kart which didn't have a weld stop like my original. New brake rotor and bearings. All you need is 1 inch axle collars from amazon on both sides of each part your securing. 2 for brake rotor, 2 for sprocket, 2 for each bearing , and one on each end of axle wheel hub.
