Manco 13.5hp

Hi, I'm new to go karts. I just got a Manco 13.5hp 2 seater kart. The guy I got it from put a $25.00 carb on it. Anybody know of a good one I can get for it??? Thanks in advanced

Nope...Kreskin...you wanna give me the make and model of the engine or carb that was used for replacement? I'm rough but not stupid...When I see a screen door...I know it has holes in it....Ball is in your court ....WISE GUY!

I took it apart. Cleaned it checked the float. Cleaned the tank new plug fresh gas. It seems like I get the air fuel mix good. 20 minutes later same thing one minute seems to get to gas next not enough. But float is not sticking. Don't know the name of the carb. And **** sure wasn't asking anyone to do all the leg work smart ***. Just simply was trying to find out what carb should be on it.

Not trying to be a prick..(actually...I can't help it..)...But really, we still don't have enough information....(at least in MHO)...

Pull the plug and describe it's color. Should be a nice tan if the air/fuel mix is right. If wet or black, too rich. Have a look and tell us what you see.

I normally don't do they...but see if you can stay with me here...OK..so you got an engine that's giving you problems...you replace the carburetor...but...we have no information on the carb replacement or engine?

The biggest thing I'm trying to find out if anyone here knew what carb should be on it or knew of a good aftermarket carb. I really don't think the one on it is what should be on it. But I will have specs on it tmw.

Thanks Spud. I guess there are several Robin Subaru 13.5 Hp models.
So they need those Specs to help you.
Meanwhile If you have those Specs you can try Jackssmallengines.com Then once you have the Carb part number look on ebay or shop around for best price.
But Jacks is a reputable place to buy from. Good Luck.

Yeah it really is like auto zone you go in for Windshield wipers and they have to ask How many Doors your truck has 2 or 4. Weird.

Yeah...by now it should be obvious what I was saying and why. We still don't have model number for the engine OR carburetor?

That's basically like saying :"I have a 1980 Chevrolet...what carburetor do I need?"

Yeah...I can be mean just because I wanna be...but USUALLY...It's because things are headed downhill...

Subaru carbs are typically mikuni carbs, which are excellent carbs. Super expensive though.

I'd say that you really need to dig in and do a real carb clean and gasket replacement.

I'm no expert, but maybe after 20 mins the bowl is empty? Air in fuel line/fuel line filter partially clogged? Also, most carbs have a tiny hole in them that allows the air into the space above the float. It could be clogged?
