recently me and my friend decided to make a go kart however because we were a little strapped for cash we resigned not to spend a single penny on it.

so far we're doing really well, we got involved with go karts at school and this year the team made a new chassis and i arranged it so that we got the old one when they were done with it,also my friend managed to get a decent lawn mower engine off a freind and some wheels off his dads friend so there arnt many major peices left that we need .

during this though i've made an important discovery.PEOPLE THROW AWAY SO MUCH GOOD STUFF!!! i started looking in the skips and oversized bins near building sites and garages and found so much good working stuff for FREE, such as a bosch angle grinder, a bosch jigsaw, a 0.5 hp electric grinder, countless small tools that just wanted a bit of a cleanto get the rust off and all the parts to make a small free wheeling push kart!!!

the moral of this story people is that one mans trash truly IS another mans treasure.
