making a drag for welding practice

ive just started welding and thought making a drag to smooth out our quarry roads and make a couple of new ones. just wondering how strong would my welds need to be and if it would need reinforcing. i try to ride my minibike, motorbikes and hopefully a gocart out there and its rough as. i have a 4wd diahatsu so where ever thqat goes im going to make a road there

It's hard to say if reinforcement will be needed without know your plans. Post up some pics and I'll try to help you out.

seems like one hell of a project lol i think you will have to think hard about how you wll stop it acting as an anchor as for your welds post some pics of ones you have made

were we race, they make new tracks by draffing something through the scrub. next time im there ill take a look
