Got a 1995 5hp Briggs motor, all stock, runs good after carb rebuild. I still have the stock muffler, there aren't any holes in it just wondering if theres any way to make them even more quiet, aftermarket or custom without greatly reducing power

They have a rope on the side....don't pull it! Just get a buddy to push you making "vrooom vroom" noises.....Sorry....being silly!!!!

Briggs has a couple of different mufflers , post up a pic of yours.

It might be possible to find a after market . But what I have seen is making the pipe longer and stepping up diameter will do it how it was on a kart I had . It really depends on how much room you have to work with. Good luck

that one:

to my best knowledge is the most quiet stock briggs muffler (if it's the real Briggs and not just a chinese copy like the one I linked)

if that's what you have, and it's not burned out by now (since it will get louder over time)
you have to make your own or buy some generic muffler for a bigger engine and modify that to fit to your engine.
