Make-Shift Pressure Washer

I think I may have something useful for greasy and oily suff.

I took an old washing machine hose and cut it in half so i could use the part that screwed on a water hose.

I took a 1/4" drive 4mm socket and stuck in the other side of the hose.

It was a pretty tight so i just put two zip ties on it.

I cleaned my 5 hp engine block with it and it was blowing the grease and sludge off of it.

The more water pressure you have, probably the better.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to make it better or get a better stream out of it?

preasure washers usually have a tiny slit in the end

i've always used the old thumb over the end of the hose method
