In my quest for cheap parts to play with, I came across this gem. Nothing to say yet other than they're quite creative by creating a contraction with the words 'the' and 'performance'.

I'll get to installing it on the 420 kart in the coming weeks. We'll report back then.

For a moment, I thought the thread title was from someone who doesn't know how to spell Mikuni. Then I see that the name is all jacked up. Hope its decent.

I can immediately see a few issues. Paint on the slide pathway, random filing needed, stringy leftover from molding the floats.

Cast chrome plated slide actually feels pretty good.

I hope this isn't redundant. There's probably a ton of up close shots of name brand stuff. Not much for the cheap stuff I tend to look at. Hopefully someone can find it useful after I've tried it.

Also.. Some mystery sealant at the emulsion tube boss/carb body mating surface. The hardware holding that boss is aluminum.

Egad, they painted the insides of the carburetor, the float chamber, et al? That’s different. Must be the wave of the future….
