Cameron..

what is this thread about??

I don't get it you have a kart okay.. a Margay.. SR most likely... AND???
do you ask a question?, if: "WHAT QUESTION??!"

if not.. post pics... then it's at least a show up...

Other than that, it's the most pointless thread in this forums category so far.

congrats.. that is a nice kart you have..

be careful with it.. that's all expensive stuff you have there;
if you want to keep it at a high value, don't ruin anything.

DO NOT paint the chassis!
that appears to be the original powdercoat.
clean it as good as you can, and use emory cloth to remove rust, then OIL to prevent further rust

(I assume you want to flip it... as usual)
That way the new owner KNOWS it's state and since it looks to be in decent condition
.. no need to cover it in paint ;)

Same thing for the wheels.. clean them up as good as you can, and assemble them properly (do not crack the centers or bent the rims ;)),
but not the spares; they're disassembled for a reason :D

finding replacements is hard or expensive.. or both :(

'sid

PS nice kart.. I'd get it off your hands in no time if I were closer.

Sorry if spelling bothers you and the punctuation i am excited to much to care .
There are sooo many parts i have not even been able to go through the 4 boxes of stuff and the kart is in great shape engine has oil on the exhaust but its a 2 stroke and its stock he said its from alaska where they used to have races for them but stopped and everyone left so this was a friend of his (the man i bought it from ) they used to race together when the owner of the kart i just bought it from (lets call him mike ) Sold his kart he soon found he wanted one again a few years later he got back in touch with the original owner and asked his if he still had it he said he did in storage so mike bought it in the late 90s mike who had wanted to get back into racing took it to open track but other then that he told me there where not many races available in California at the time for it .He then put it in his garage the proper way to store a kart .and took it out 6-8 months ago to go race it at open track again for memories.
(He must not have cared to much and had lots of money he lived in a 4 bedroom (one bonus room) 5 bath 8000 square foot house with 1 acre of land on top of san dimas mountains in his garage he had 2 Prius's and one 1998 corvette said he was a engineer for the oil company ) i bought it all for 250$ lol so i dont think he thought it was worth much :) i got a steel (Thanks mike)

I haven't complained, have I?
Still you throw that at me...

Well, in that case...

If you don't care enough to type,
what makes you think we care enough to READ!??
:horse:

As far as I'm concerned, you just disqualified yourself again...
good luck getting off my ignore list anytime soon.

Thank you It Worked :) Well i cant wait to put the new fuel line on the kart and a new filter so i can start it up again . I was shocked when i opened one of the boxes and found that there is a whole rebuild kit for the entire engine inside.
