all you would have done was refresh or rebuild the motor and put helicoils in the muffler bolt holes for the bolts to stay in and then drill holes in the bolts and put wire throught them to keep them frm backing out

That is a nice kart for only 300 hundred dollars. I would put a chainsaw engine on it.

Chainsaws ain't what they used to be. Typical homeowner saw is less than 50cc's. Would need one that's at least 100cc's or better. With the cost of that size saw, could buy 4 or 5 karts at $300 each.
Stihl and Husqvarna make some big ones that crank out some serious rpm/hp and can drive a 5 or 6 foot bar.

Yea i agree, the big engines are very expensive

Geez- I forgot about this kart... I wonder what the update is on it? I'd love something like this as a testbed for the crazy ideas. Really neat design. I wonder if plans are available, or if a person could scan the pix of it and go from there?
