need advice
i have a factory buikt go cart .origin unknown.
motor packed it in so i put a five horse back
on.we had a clutch given to us {old one no good}
it was a real slow start and the clutch heated
up. had to purchase a new clutch[12 tooth]
spindle on half axle is a fifty tooth [ seven
to one?] ratio. we are still having the go-
cart starting out real slow and the clutch
still seems to be slipping. should i go to a
sixty tooth [five to one]?? the old motor was a five horse as well. the shaft [axle] size is
3/4 " in diam. if that helps.. hoping someone
can help.
