Lower Idle on 6.5 B&S

Hi there.
I can't seem to lower my idle rpm on a 6.5 OHV B&S.
My owners manual shows a different carb setup than mine.
The first pic has two screws. A brass one on the left and a black one (mid picture). The second pic has a spring loaded screw that limits the high end rpm.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turn that black screw counter clockwise to lower the idle.

Well, I turned the black screw counter clock-wise again and still nothing. Had to take the filter and cover off of the carb to see why it wasn't working.
Seems the spring on the governor linkage was too tight, so the black piece that is supposed to rest against the idle screw wasn't.
