I am like you guys I enjoy building something that has the potential of killing me. I mainly build up mini bikes and pocket bikes, but have done a few go karts. I will get some pictures of my projects and my hopes of them posted up on Monday. Thanks for all the great information guys. I have been playing in sketch for the last hr or so at work.

It's picture time!!!

Small red pocket rocket, was getting 2 cycle from a snowblower. Currently on hold, need to have the crankshaft milled for a clutch. Depending on cost, the project may change.

2nd bike frame and tires picked up this weekend for $45 tires alone makes that bike worth the price. Now considering a solid rear axle I have salvaged from old go cart.

Third Bike is a APC mini chopper(style pepboys sold) I was going to put that 170cc dirt bike engine on. I was frightened that the brakes would not be sufficient. Now I am going to put on a 6.5 hf engine with torque converter and JS to transfer it to other side.

Next bike is just receiving a fresh paint job. Picked it up for $85 at the beginning of this previous winter.

Last picture is the go cart rear axle for 2nd frame and tires

I am really not done. more pictures

This trike we had some spare parts laying around and was bored one weekend. With no plans and a welder we threw this beast together. Bicycle front brakes and speedometer. I got this beast up to 50mph.

We haven't messed with it in a while, but we want to put the dirt bike front on the trike to provide a better brake.

And I would love to take rear swing arm and make a reverse trike for it.

Black mini chopper is to receive that 170cc dirt bike engine from previous post. Its brakes should be enough(I hope)

Last picture in this set is just a plain mini bike frame, fix it sell it make profit fund other crazier bikes.

You really limit me on my pictures

here are some more.

First one is frame and wheels a co worker gave us. IDK what we will do with it.

Another plan mini bike frame for funding other projects

And the last one is 3 yr old sons electric dirt bike. I also have an electric crotch rocket for him that I am going to put training wheels one too

Now toys that I do not currently have pics of are
A running yerf dog style mini bike with a 6.5 hf engine on
A 50cc Mini chopper that runs but looking for a bigger motor
A 250cc style go cart w no motor. Been hoping to find a cheap motor for that for years now.
I believe that might be all of them.

Was that enough pics for you sir?

yes, thanks.. that was indeed a good start..

I'm baffled about the black mini chopper...
I know the chromed plastic fake engines;
but that looks like it has a cast metal fake rear cylinder..

great.

It indeed does. It is a 2cycle engine. My best guess is 49cc, then the back cylinder appears to be for looks only. However does appear to be a complete extra head. Wish I could turn it into a twin cylinder 2 cycle engine.
