We put an after market air filter on our kart (its a PGO Falcon with a 150cc gy6 engine) and it seemed to loose its bottom end torque.
I put the stock air box back on and it got its bottom end back but we want more!!!

Any suggestions on how to cure this problem?
We are trying to get some more power out of our little engine so we can go a little better in sand and up hills!

There's an old saying, "the better an engine can breathe, the better it will perform". Having said that, there's not much point letting it breathe in if it still can't breathe out...

He might get away with the exhaust, but he is gonna have to open the main jet in the carb to compensate for more air coming in..... Those exhausts flow pretty decent for what they are.....

I promise that when the boys blow one up I will post pictures of the "ventilated" block!
(and you noticed that I said "when" and not "if")
I am ordering some main jets today and as soon as we can we are putting a better exhaust system on them.
Thank you for the advice
