Looking to find what double seat and seatbelts would work on this cart. I was told its a carter bros.

The seat in the pic is a lawnmower seat. From the previous owner and the seat belts are cut.

This is important: Do not put seatbelts on a kart without a cage. Most of us make our own seats or go to a shop. Kart fab has a great guide on kartfab.com. Good luck! The reason you don’t want belts on an open top kart is it’s better to be ejected than crushed…

You can put any double seat you want so long as it fits ...... If you really want OEM Stock Parts you may not find them as old as the kart is but give it a go. Try and find the model number of that kart ( look EVERWHERE ) Parts list for Carter Bros Karts link is ........ https://www.bmikarts.com/Carter-Brothers-Go-Kart-Manuals ......... Otherwise measure the width and go for whats out there or DIY. Seat shown is from ......... https://www.gopowersports.com/search-results/?q=double seats&page_num=3 ..............

All good info. And i appreciate you taking time to post it. After looking at it, building a simple padded seat will be pretty easy and will fit exactly how I want it to. I have all the fabrication tools I will need. I am going to look though... just out of curiosity

That lawnmower seat is an eyesore but you see go karts with some kind of home-made seat all the time on craigslist. CRINGE!
