Hi all.

I'm currently looking to pick up a minibike and I have about $350 to spend. Where would you go to pick up a good kit, without an engine or clutch? I already have an engine and a clutch so thats taken care of and not a factor of the $350.

I've been looking at the Azusa minibike kit seen here:http://www.gokartnminibikeparts.com/go_kart_&_minibike_kits.htm - for $299+shipping = $356. I've been checking out the one with the 8" wheels. Would anyone advise against 8" wheels? Should I go cheaper and pick up the 6" ones?

Thanks for the help!

The kits are great, but IMO you'd be better off buying a cheap used one ($100-$150 around here)...

That is, unless you want the "Experience".

What exactly does the conversion plate do for the honda that I cant do by drilling holes and bolting it on already? I'm thinking about picking one of these up today at dicks sporting goods or pep boys.

ah I see! thats a very neat way of doing things. He uses flush bolts to make it so that you can mount the engine ontop of the plate with no problem of interference. Hmm for $40, I may pick one up.
