Looking for Clark Cyclops wheels

I have a Clark kart project and I need two rear wheels

Are you looking for the dished style like what you have on the front? If you check the brochures like the one below, Clark appears to have used what we commonly call "Manco wheels" which are similar but don't have the dished effect. Same 6 "spokes" though. These came in 4, 5, 6 and 8 inch varieties.

I’d like to find the same as the fronts before I resort to some Mancos.

What ive had to do in the past is modify some of the front fin wheels and used one half Clark and hone half Manco. if you are lookin to sell the kart or the front wheels please let me know.

Well they’re not “Mancos” and you’re not resorting to them (unless the kart you’re trying to restore used the dished type exclusively). They were manufactured by an independent supplier and were seen on all kinds of brands, including Clark, but perhaps were most prominent on everyone’s favorite brand (Manco) because they (Manco) dominated sales for a long time or were in more markets.

*Oftentimes what the brochure showed was different from reality. You got the wheels they had on the shelf and they installed them and shoved the kart out the door among the hundred or so they produced per day. Sometimes you get a mixmaster of different wheels, front wheels that were different from the rear or driven wheels, or aluminum on the front and steel wheels on the rear and vice versa. This can really throw off the restorer with OCD who thinks it’s not “original”.

@Hellion thats incorrect Clark was very proper about what they did with their karts. Mr Clark didn’t ever cut corners therefore every single go kart had the exact same wheels, whether it was front or back now that could be different for the company Manco but for Clark no I have personally owned several Clark’s, and I believe that I have the biggest Clark go kart collection and if my karts had Manco wheels It was a very early Clark cyclops. Most other Clarks came with the FIN wheels. Like this fella has very rare.

I was not talking about Clark, I was talking in general but Manco and Simplex does comes to mind. Are you willing to bet your life on the validity of your statement?

Well it’s leaning that way I’m sure someone out there has a whole barn full of them that I’m now aware of but I’m working towards having the largest Clark collection.
