LONGEVITY TIG welder

Any one have any experience with a Longevity welder, plasma cutter or both? I am almost ready to pull the trigger, but looking for some more feedback before I do. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Checked out welding web along with a few other forums. I went ahead and got the machine. I got a great deal on the machine from a sales rep over the phone and so far, it is working out awesome ! I figured what the hell, I have read at least 100 reviews, and there were minimal reviews that were bad, and the bad reviews were followed up with "hey longevity helped me out and replaced my machine!" There is a 5 year parts and labor warranty on the machine and a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on the machine which made me feel a little more comfortable about the buy.

I will show off some of the work that I do with it either in my kart build thread, or back in this thread.

it's a good rule of thumb that if a descriptive word is in the title it is junk.
"longevity = crap" "quality = crap" "worlds greatest = crap"... think about it. If you have to place a quality attribute in the name of the product itself it must be pretty darn aweful. Save you money and buy a name-brand or buy this one and use it as a boat anker.

Trust me, I have had Professional welders come take a look at this machine, and I have had nothing but praise about it. The machine is great! Why would I pay $6000.00 + for 3 machines that can hardly do what this machine can do with less of a warranty? I am not a professional welder and if I were, I still would not spend the money on an expensive name brand with the same specs. for 3 times the price with a lesser warranty. I could get multiple longevity machines for the same price as a name brand! I have not had the machine long enough for a real LONGEVITY test, but knowing that they stand behind there equipment makes me feel secure about the inexpensive buy.

ill stick with anything made by lincoln.
