Long time lurker in Holly Springs NC

Thought I'd introduce myself officially, though I've been reading posts for some time (4 years). I did a search and found Fat Tony's thread on a VW van and was afflicted with an idea.... It just took a while to take hold.

A few weeks ago I picked up an old but complete Carter Brothers red talon model 2435. I also picked up a predator 212 to swap out the engine. (The Briggs on the talon has no starter and is missing some sheet metal). The idea is to build it with my middle daughter and tear around the yard.

I'll be a little more active as I build, and I'm sure I'll have some questions.

I'm trying to post with an iPad... Or iPhone. It's really a pia to download pics to the laptop and post from there.

Does anyone else use an iPhone (mine is a 6) to post pictures?

Once I come back in the house there is no returning to the garage..... ("Honey-do" list, and all the other things that have to get done- lol).

did as usual:

selected a file, clicked on upload and here it is:


Only downside of this stupid device: it adds an artificial name to the image (image.jpeg) while it actually has <some number>.jpg
And because of that you can only add one image to a post instead of ten.
if you find that as stupid as I do.. ask apple to fix that [enhancement request]:

I find it stupid that you can only post 1 pic at a time. But,
I would rather see ten Posts 1 pic each then get forwarded to Fotopukeit.

No.. a "bug" (in fact intended behaviour) in vbulletin overwrites all attachments with the same name in the same post..
