Lo206 gearbox

Hello I am looking at buying a lo206 engine wondering a good match for gearbox with reverse. Looking at the Vevor 30 series one with Vevors torque converter. Thoughts other gearbox/ converter options?

If you mean a B&S Local Option 206, you're talking about a $600-$700 factory race engine. What is this for?

I’m putting in a mobility scooter… swapping from a full electric drive

Ezcome-ezgo is checking with his lawyer before he gives you any advice. There is just too much to change over and make that mobility scooter safe. If you are doing it just for fun and games that another story but if you need the mobility scooter to get around I WOULD ALSO PUT ON THE TOP OF YOUR SPEED DIAL YOUR DOCTOR'S NUMBER. The biggest improvement you will need is your brakes versus what is on the scooter now. The L-206 needs a gas tank and a muffler, it is a race engine. There are a lot less expensive engines to fool around with on this project.

So this scooter itself is used to haul projects around. I am building it a new trailer and installing a gas motor… I do a lot of side projects and frequently haul large items (see photo) it destroys batteries and electric motors that are designed for mobility scooters. lol I came across the lo206 because had a ride on mower that had a Briggs and that thing would not die. So I searched Briggs website and only one I could find without a build in fuel tank. I want it to be not on the motor. Open to other motors within 200cc range with no fuel tank. Needs to be compatible with a gearbox.

Dual front disc brakes 6”, rear axle disc brake(unsure size yet) 13” tires on front and rear, I have seen many go karts with less. Full suspension all around.

Gas tanks on regular Predator 212 engines can easily be removed and relocated and they are $150 out the door of Harbor Freight. If you are going to experiment, I would go that route. The drivetrain components you mentioned are perfectly compatible.
