i know its not a go kart but i'm trying to set up an old nissan sunny 1.3 for some snow spec fun! i have no regard for comfort or looks so anything that will help suggest it! i've allready completely stripped the inside and anything else that can reduce weight(wiring etc.) so my guess is its around 1000 kilo (a tonne) which isnt bad with 60 hp! i also rerouted the standard exhaust through the front bumper (it sounds the nuts!!). just wondering is there much else that would help, like tyre pressures or that) for some sideways fun!!
Thanks :auto:

hi flow air filter?

if this is a paddock basher(car u drive like nuts in a paddock/feild till it breaks)
then just pull off the air filter
if it is really a paddock basher then u dont need the roof or doors
and driving on sealed road surface with no tryes on the back is fun, espesially a front wheel drive car

if it is still a road car then the more pressure the better it will roll (within reason)
also litle things like changeing the fuel filter can make a big differance if it hasnt been serviced in a while

i could make a long list of intresting and some stupid things u can do to a paddock basher to have fun but to a road car there isnt so much that is free as performance comes at a cost

Wind the ignition timing up a few degrees & increase the mixture a bit for higher rpm right through the range.

Also, adjust the rear brakes down. This will make the fronts grab but not so much on the rear. Once you've done that adjust the handbrake up to perform better handbrake turns/stops
