t'was a fun build. Gonna be my daily cruiser when spring break comes along...
GP460 46cc motor, ported (intake, exhaust, transfers, cases, manifolds/gaskets matched), piped, high RPM springs and clutch from a pocket bike, rebuilt, blah, geared at 6/55.
Currie Technologiezzz(zzzzz) 900w (@24V) motor, running at 48v... 48v 1000w controller capable of pushing over 100a, so no worries about current there. Geared at 11/80.
One electric, tops 20.2MPH (GPS'd) with wheelspin all the way there. No traction... no torque steer
On the gas motor, powerband kicks in literally a second after the motor tops out. 42.9MPH tops (GPS'd)
