Lifan 9hp Electric Start

Brand new. Never had gas or oil in it. Bought it then discovered that the mounting footprint was not the same as the 212 small block type engines. Comes with a key and battery wires. I've seen these on line from about $450 to as much as $950 (!).

I'd like $325 for this one. Excuse my lousy photography. More pictures on request.

I'm in San Marcos TX (about 1/2 way between San Antonio and Austin). Delivery, pick up, or shipping all considered depending on terms and details.

Do you already have another engine? Certainly not impossible to cut a new set of slots in the motor mount plate, or change it altogether. This just might be me, but if I can buy a brand new Predator 420 ( 13 hp ) with electric start and a warrantee for $379, I kinda doubt that you'll get what you are asking for it. Since you already have it, try to use it.

True, and fair. I could have mounted it, but chose instead to get a Tillotson that bolted right on. Main decision point was weight. My Fox frame wouldn't really be happy with a big(er) block motor.

As for price, I think the Lifans are regarded as a bit higher quality than the Predators. We will see. I've go so many little engines now that having one more take up a bit of floor space hardly matters.
