Does anyone happen to have any experience with one of these? I was wonderin if it would be an upgrade from the stock 200cc engine on my kart, but that one only supplies 6 or 6.5 hp i forget which one. Since the conversion of the KW is about 16hp. And this can be directly chained to the axle sprocket without any need for anything between the tranny and the axle right?

Should be able to chain right on, but with an appropriate motorcycle sprocket on your axle. I am highly doubtful that it's chain pitch will match a go kart sprocket, let alone width. As for mounting a motorcycle sprocket, probably get on to modelengineer or robin, as their projects make use of motorcycle power plants and they will have some idea of what you should do.

well, its a "cheap" engine, lifan's are the best from china that are available. And I know what it is, I have a china dirt bike, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience using one. Does it matter what axle the motorcycle sprocket is used on, like is there a specific one it needs?
