you should fabricate your own exhaust

Is welding equipment necessary for that? because I do not own any.

Also, I now realize I would need a gas tank, how and where would I hook that up? And would I be able to take the tank from an old, nonworking engine? One that uses a pulsa jet carb to pump gas?

yes this come with everything except gas tank and exhaust. the throttle would be hooked up thru the carb. looks like a slide style carb. as for the gas tank any tank will work that can hold gas really. just need tank and gas hose and hook it up to the carb

The throttle would be on your carburators butterfly, BUTTT your carb does not have a butterfly a cable goes to the little rod sticking out the top and pulls some linkage for the throttle i dont believe you will need a return spring but you might dont take my word. For your exhaust to make your own there are very few ways to do so without fabricating, unless you can find one with the right flange. your carburator will be grivity fed because there is a bowl that collects gas. so yes you can take one off of an unworking engine and mount it. Just make sure your hose going to the carb is angled down so it runs into the bowl.no you cant use a tank with the pulse jet like that because there will be a hole ontop and you cant seal it. just a normal gastank with a gas shutoff valve and a nipple for some hose will be perfect.
