ok so just had a little drive in it, and its gonna spin lol felt like it pulled realy good and good enough to spin the rear tyres on cement in first and second didnt get to try the other gears only move about a meter lol, still needs wiring finished of but othere then that its good to drive. Will post video soon

big block chev. getting a set of alloy heads on it now should be in the 700hp range. its goin in this ute.
i always wanted an el camino, or something similar.. lol..

buddy at work is building a big block chevy engine... he has half the enigne done, 6 grand later, and still looking for somethign to put it in.. lmao..
I keep teasing him, just cuz its fun..
(I dont realy have anything against chevy's, but its funny as heck to bug him about em cuz hes a die hard bow-tie fan!!!)
You shoukld check out the pics of the 350 enignes that pop into our shop, (the old boy and his son race sprint cars, $14,000 350 engines.. just WOW amazing setups! totaly insane!
anyways, when do we get to see vids of your kart? I CANT wait to see this thing being played with!!!!!!!!!

Dan hasn't even logged on to the forum for a month or so, but my kart is pretty much just like his, here's some measurements for ya:

Gogi, what brand of kart to you have?
Camber specifications vary with different racekart brands and models...

I suggest you use 14-degrees of Caster.
I also highly suggest you closely follow most all the info in that link I posted when building, setting up and adjusting your homemade racekart chassis.
Here's a quote from that link with some really good info regarding Castor angles you could use, It also explains what Castor actually accomplished on go karts:
Castor effects the bite of the front and rear end and also changes apparent weight of the steering. It does this by transferring wieght to the opposite rear wheel during cornering. The less Castor in a kart, the less road-fell the driver will receive. Castor adds feel and bite to the front end. On Tonykarts, there are two pills used to adjust the castor giving you three possibilities:
12 degrees
Neutral (14 degrees)
16 degrees
For most applications, use the neutral castor pill. Too much castor slows the cornering speed of the kart due to unneccessary grip. However, on cold days, or when the use of harder compound tires are required, adding castor can help prevent understeer and make the kart more driveable. Although the use of 12 degrees castor in Tonykarts is uncommon, it may be necessary under sticky track conditions to free up the kart.
