I've been toying with ths idea for the rear suspension to have just one link shock between the 2 wishbones via a bell crank arrangement. Would save time n weight.
What do you guys think as I have seen it done many times on rc cars etc.

That arrangement will not provide any roll stiffness. You will have to provide all needed roll stiffness with an anti-sway bar or similar.

I am curious about the drive housing on your rear axle. Is there a differential in there? If so, where did you get that assembly?

Yeh I guessed there would be that issue but if the front double wishbones have a spring each it may help the issue some. The rear casing is off a old peoples 24v mobility scooter that are a familiar sight here in the UK.It was shortened to just the diff unit not needing the full transaxle width.
The drive from the motor to the pinion was by a high ratio helical spurs. The axle gear is made from a grade of cast iron that is case hardened . This was no good after I machined a step on it to fit the sprocket as the wall thickness would have been thin causing cracking and poss breakage. I therefore machined a new one from mild steel and machining the diff gears recesses back in as standard. It will be no good as a driftin tool but will turn on lawns etc real well. The UJ's are landrover steering column ones and look to take a fair amount of torque ( pray).
