Mnts of the farthest NE TN you can go
No lighting coils etc.

Hemi head or heck let's do both

Cast iron suck we know this when rpms get up.

Billet alum. Is $$$

Finding $40/$50 ones that are rated higher than 8500

What is skinny on them? Cast alum as long as not sand castings, can beat billet due to machining times as long as they are balanced.

They have different crankshaft tapers.

The predator 212 HEMI has a crankshaft taper of its own kind. No other small block flywheel will work. The only alternative is a billet.

The pred 212 NON HEMI has a crankshaft taper that is very, very, very close to the more popular clone taper.

The $40 cast aluminum flywheel, from the tilly 212r, that revs 5800 rpm right outta the box, with the governor still working, works on the pred non hemi and every other clone.

There's engine builders putting the cast aluminum flywheels on 7500-8500 rpm small blocks.

Was on Amazon and lots of non-hemi head stuff only arc had 1 for 2X$$.
Don't want to go crazy with advance ,not sure how we'll drive them.
Just don't trust chinasteelisimmm
Just a lil advice.
dont get hung up on the big rpm, high hp bs. It's takes 1 hellava engine to turn 7500+ rpm. Everybody and their mothers mother will sell you the parts for a 7500+ rpm build. But, it's really not that simple.

When you build an engine to turn 7500+, it takes away all the low rpm torque out of it. And that jus don't work on a fun daily driver mini bike. You have to stall the clutch or driver to 4500+ rpm, because of the big cam it takes to turn 1 that much. Thats like trying ride a chainsaw while trail riding, it gets old really fast.

I believe in flywheel safety. That should be the very 1st upgrade, imho.
