Anyone know how to power a pair of LED lights 15w off of a Honda GX200 without the electric start?

Get the 3amp stator and flywheel to make them work, or a battery. Here's the stator itself, then you'll need the regulator/rectifier (turns A/C ro D/C and regulates to around 12 volts) and the flywheel for it.

As this come up frequantly... a good battery is about the best way.....
The charging effort isnt worth the money,convenience and overall inefficiency .....
Keep the battery charged Via the wall charger... itll be fine...

Agreed. Small sealed lead acid (SLA) battery, not a mower/car battery. LEDs don't have much draw. Small sailboats do this all the time.

I agree too. LEDs are awesome and insanely bright for how little juice they use. I wish it were that easy when I was a kid you should of seen my light rig on my old xr100 dirtbike lol.
