hey guys
i was wondering how to get the drivetrain of this thing going. at the moment the the shaft of the engine is like 6 inches out the left side of the frame and wondering how im gonna get it to hook it up to the wheel:furious2: ive got the engine going, ive ported it, cleaned all carbon out of the head and ports and ive out a new carby on it and it sounds crazy(partially because it doesnt have a exhaust pipe). will put pics up tommorow

P.S i dont have acess to a clutch or tourque converter haha so its just plain old direct drive so i dont want any comments about these things

It's been done over at pocketbikeplanet.com. One of the boys dumped a 5.5hp Honda engine into a Cateye frame (search for mattyboi if you go over there), and I believe there are a few guys here doing the same thing. The Cateye pocketbike platform is perfect for an engine swap, with little to no welding/cutting needed. However, for the conversion, you would need a good clutch (so yeah, i'm commenting on it!) Make sure you get a good one, and build a clutch and chain shield for your leg - one of the guys had the clutch blow out, and just missed taking his leg off ....
