What is the deal with those fuel injection carbs anyways? How are they supposed to work? I had thought about trying to play with one.

Tillotson is not very clear on that, but instead of a venturi creating
a suction to pull fuel through the jets, it has a pulse pump or something
that pushes the fuel into the carb, for more control over the fuel curve?

First one I tried worked for a couple weeks then quit. This one sat in the box
for a few years, and was a dud.

Might just be coincidence, or the cold + being installed on a 70's flathead briggs,
but I will not waste any more money on them. I would much rather buy a small
slide carb that will outpreform it.

Seamless transitioning in that video from scene to scene, very smooth, and that's all I have to say about it. Everything else was terrifying. I'd have to be back in my teenage death wish days to blaze down the road at that speed on that evil nightmare that some Rascal had after being fed moonshine for fuel.

(Minimal) $ discount van rides by the madprofessor to the E.R., Visa/MC accepted, no lines, no waiting, because there'd better not be no lines or no waiting with your kinds of injuries!

Well, after the obvious happened and the lawn chair started falling apart beyond repair,
I threw this together. Now if you lean in, you can bomb corners way faster than it
has any business doing. Tons of fun, I ride it miles at a time around the township.
Gets plenty of confused looks.

Scary high CG. But way cool!
Will a turbo help? :2guns::cheers2:

I think ill leave this one alone, but am seriously contemplating building a second lawn chair to
test two motors that won't fit on mini bike chassis. A RHB31 turbocharged gx200,
and a 5hp flathead with a honda jetski turbo that was gifted to me, with the intent
of me blowing something up with it.

Soon...

Swapped the sidecover so I can fit a clutch on er, mounted a carb, retested the oil system,
hits on starting fluid, ready to rip? Just need some funds for a clutch and axle.

Briggs still needs some work.

Managed to find enough parts to make a working clutch. Bit of paint and it's new.

Stopped by the local hardware, got two 1in pillow blocks for $26, and a chunk
of 1in solid round stock of sufficient length for $15. Things bout to happen. Got some rims
and tires out the junkyard, Just need some frame material now.

One suggestion though. Don’t drive it with those cinder blocks under it. It will handle poorly. Sure it will slide around and be fun on hard pavement. Once you try to go off road it may get stuck easily and you may fall off the seat and skin your elbows or knees. Then you’ll have to go see your mommy for some Bactine for your boo boos. I’m watching.
