Large wheels, where to find 'em?

Hi all!

I have this crazy idea to build a '33 Ford-ish Hot Rod Go Kart for my kids! Something like the picture but GoKart size.

I have the design figured out but can't find the wheels for it.

Anyone know where to find wheels with standard Kart bolt pattern but, say, 12 - 13 inch rims?

I'm sure that you could get rims for Smart Cars that are considered more flashy and not so toy looking despite their diameter.

I've been toying with a hot rod build idea, myself (kids' kart#2). Body work is not my strong suit so I think it's going to be a basic bucket, no hood or fenders.

Anyway- regarding the rims- does anyone happen to know the bolt pattern on an original Austin Mini? Maybe there's some aftermarket rims that can be had?

I've seen trailers with some really nice rims, so that might be a road worth exploring, too.

Aftermarket golf cart wheels. They have the ubiquitous 4x4" bolt pattern, and come in all sorts of bling varieties to suit your taste (or lack thereof).

Good call Newrider. Those are nice and use very common hubs that BMI sells for like $15 a piece.

never mind I found the page, I remember when I bought the hubs for the rear tires for the bat and they were like $22 without shipping. They lowered their prices.
