Did a search but did not get any answers - got a cart for son and cannot seem to get power transferring properly to wheels - got a new belt thinking the correct width would help (3/4) - appears to have a 20 series clutch on it - the top unit on the engine crank ( driver unit I think ) does not appear to close in order to grip the belt and pull on the driven unit - I believe this may be the issue but as I am new to all this not sure - Camera has died so no pics at moment - will try and get a new camera and get pics - engine is a clone 8hp

thanks JB

I think he just needs a little maintenance. Most people don't know that those things require it every so many hours of use(8?) I'm not even sure how many hours, to be honest. But I do know it should be cleaned after a weekend of playing, that's for sure.....
EDIT well, a weekend of MY playing..... LoL

Have you tried elevating the rear of the kart to see what happens?

Have had the rear elevated and the wheels spin but if I put foot on wheel it will slow to a stop - If I give it wome throttle there is a little difference but not a lot

thanks for all the help JB

Been working nights so not a lot of time but have stripped the driver and give it a good clean - seems to move freely now so need to get it reassembled and give it a go
