Kz440 in a dunebuggy

HELLO, FINISHED UP REWIRING THE HARNESS FOR KZ440. FIRED UP RIGHT AWAY BUT WONT REV UP JUST STALLS OUT, IVE BEEN DOING A little reasearch and have read these engines are hard to tune, i remeber there are a few guys on this site who have used the kz440 on there carts, was just wonder if they had any problem as i am just using the engine and the stock air boxes and cut down exghuast and notihn else from the bike

The carbs in my opinion are ****, two keihen CV carbs, which can be hard to tune, and are very finicky. I swapped my dual carbs for a single 34mm mikuni roundslide, and the power doubled. if you ditch the stock exhaust or stock airbox then i suggest switching to single carb.
