Hey guys, long time no see.
My cousin recently got a L245 for free! and we have decided to give it a light rebuild and whatnot to get this baby running (or at least learn a lot from it).
First problem is that the radiator fins and hoses were stuffed and that let in a lot of muddy water (it's been through a flood) and the gear case cooling area is quite full of dirt & the hose intakes are rusted.
Just wondering if theory if we could stick a small car radiator on there and it would work as it should (will keep an eye on temps) because replacement parts are so **** expensive $350+ for a new one, can't seem to find any getting wrecked either.
A re-core is an option but still pricey as we could pick up a small car radiator for no more than $50
