Apologies if this has been addressed in other threads. I tried a search, but don't really know what I'm searching for. From what I can tell the secondary clutch is cooking belts because the outer steel point of the secondary clutch is slipping in between these two white plastic/ceramic pieces, thereby prohibiting it from opening and closing. The pieces look worn down (see photo) as opposed to on a brand new clutch (see circled part in the second photo). If I manually adjust the clutch for the point to be outside the plastic (like in the circle photo), it will stay like that for a little while, allowing it to open and close, but then slips back in between and won't open and close while the kart is running. Was hoping to be able to just replace the plastic/ceramic pieces. Or does this mean that I need an entirely new secondary clutch?

That piece is saveable. You will need to purchase the new plastic stops, but aside from that you will have to take it apart in order to get the cam points on the forward side of the stops. Lots of videos showing and explaining how to. You can probably find a brand new one on Amazon for about $30 if you don't feel like messing with it. It's a 30 series torque converter Driven clutch. Probably 5/8" shaft diameter ( most popular size ) but verify before hand if you purchase new. In its present state, it will never work properly.
