My son and I are converting a Coleman KT196 kart to electric using Surron motor, controller, and battery. My question is this.... In order to gear the kart properly I need to swap out the jackshaft gear (at least I think I do) to something slightly bigger. I realize I can play with the sprocket size at pretty much any point, but this seems to make the most sense to me.
Motor: 10t
Jackshaft Input: currently 25t (this is the one I think I'd like to swap)
Jackshaft Output: currently 10t
Axle: 25t (I'd swap this one if I could find a 32t that fits)
Does anyone know where I can get a sprocket to replace the jackshaft input sprocket? Or I guess the Axle sprocket could work as well, but there isn't much clearance here.
