Why are there 4 different pedals ? I don't understand why theirs 4 pedals.. Shouldn't there be one for gas and one for brake? What's up with the 2 extra pedals?

If you open the website and look back to the V1 it has 5 pedals on it!

I'm guessing throttle, clutch, front brake, rear brake, and kick starter.

The go kart built for organists.

Anyone who's run a tractor is accustomed to a plethora of pedals... Foot throttle, clutch, left brake, right brake, diff lock, and a few other oddballs on some models. Plus a horn on some.

Nevertheless... Too complicated for a kart

You are welcome to 'SAVE IMAGE AS' and put it in a photo album and the click on it from your album and use the mouse wheel to blow it up for fine detail. I use a really nice camera for large fine shots for such activities as blowing up for detail. I'm not sure if you are talking about the lower two photos of FUNNY MONEY me get from out presidential elections or not. The really colorful paper is foreign money. I will send you one of the 5DM if I can. I've never mailed outside the US before but maybe it still only takes a couple standard stamps still.

HEY!! How about I share a photo of a gunship that regularly flies over my house,BUT this time it had a 50 cal. machine gun hanging out the left side!! I took this yesterday when two flew over. I treasure that shot and I have many!! My home is in line with our East/West runway and the Air National Guard station they are constructing as we speak, next to the airport......................

Can you do a build thread here? I would like to see you assemble this cart in a step by step instructional posting. You will also get more than one post under your belt. Soooooo, it's a NO-WELD cart right? That seat!!!!!! IF you put a POLY HIGH BACK seat on that, that would look 100% more appealing and should cost around $50 or less (PLUS cost of seat cover)!!

My seat is bought with thread holes.

Assembly instructions step by step will be included the order in paper book. In the future will be completly video manual on youtube.

Yes right, it is NO-WELDED cart.

I am thinking about better seat but for me is more important to have a comfort seat from big car when there are not shock absorbers and springs. Next generation will have springs maybe.

Seems pretty unsafe to me. Like others said, it would be fine if it was your own project, but trying to sell this isn't a good idea. With that car seat, the center of gravity is at least a foot higher than on a regular kart. It looks like flipping that wouldn't be a hard thing to do. It doesn't even have a roll cage to protect from a roll or flip. And you could go through a liter of loctite putting that thing together if you don't want it to rattle all apart on you.

There's like only 1 European on this forum and 95% of us are Canadian's and maybe 3 or 4 Canadian Americans here...

It's going to be hard to convince us Canadians to buy anything non Canadian built. Build Canadian buy Canadian..... Only way Us Canadians would buy this is if you some how took Canadian tire money you Know...

But we can discuss fur sure Canadian... You

BTW Canada is located long ways away in the great white north... Canadian

I wanted to build own kart only for me. But now I like no-welded solution as kit for assembly at home without hard tools

This kart is not the best but I belive it will be user friendly and very fun. My idea in the future is each half a year release upgrade for sell or sell plans to 3D printer. I used some parts from 3D printer for lights

Well it's bound to be heavy being a bolt together frame... All those bolts and brackets and gussets add up fast. Plus that car seat can't be light.

Yes sure. I prefer steel and easy low cost materials. So total mass could not be less then 100 kg. Engine + seat etc. But Frame alone is only 15kg. These everything is about development in the future

OK, but sorry, comfortable seat is the most important for me. I dislike quard kart for child. I have cca. 80kg and I am 180 cm high. I need the best seat. The price about 1000 USD is ok with any car seat. possible is old. But I prefer new.

I have to agree with Scott;
very bad first post.. so I removed the link entirely (it's his name dot com if you are curious)
and instead added those images here for you to discuss.

And I know we should all be nice and gentle.. but this time..
I don't think it's exactly a good idea to just be kind or use sarcasm for that matter.

So I won't:

I hate every little aspect of that contraption apart from the sprocket holder for the spares.

It's clearly made by someone who has not the slightest clue about engineering;
which is perfectly okay for "I made my own kart"
it's a certainly NOT OKAY for "I'll sell this crap"

it's certainly made by someone who has not ridden a kart or shifter kart for that matter ever before, or a car or any other engine powered vehicle.
That pedal setup will SURELY cause serious trouble for all that have a drivers license and/or are used to driving go karts.

it's also certainly made by someone who wishes to get a bunch of strongly worded letters from a well known popular kart company in the near future about his domain/company name.

And before I list all of the issues with this.. I just call it by what it is:
A nice first try for a 14yo that got hold of sketchup
(I know it's not sketchup.. but if solidworks sees you using a illegal copy of their software for "commercial" products you are in terrible trouble! SO I rather not point that out)
there is a few hundred hours of learning and reading ahead of you if you want to make something that is decent and maybe worth selling.
This is not only stupid to sell it's down right dangerous!
If you don't know why you have just proven my first point (no clue about engineering)

You should have posted for sale in the 'FOR SALE' section ( after acquiring a few posts first though) and then brought this kart up for discussion here. Glad to see you take criticism ok. Just ask what other's would like to see done to make this more appealing to them. BUT, he did not delete your post or ban you, instead gave some criticism on a product and waited to see if you were coming back( most don't). IF I tell a home builder I want a brick house instead of a wood framed house and he builds a wood framed house, I won't buy his house. The public will dictate what YOU or I sell, that is a golden rule whether we like it or not. Are you out to satisfy the public (your future customer) or to satisfy yourself. The latter would just be greed. Even it it was the President of a country, he has to follow the laws also. No offense Mr. Engineer, but you must understand that without these rules, spammers would run rampant. When spammers run rampant, everyone runs to another website. Interensting motorbike? I want to see it. Mechanics set - it is sure. i want to do mechanics sets. Development new release build and build better and better building kit. And use more 3D printers
